4. Engineer Fitness Check

I have consumed sufficient water today. I am feeling fit and well. I have not consumed alcohol within the last 12 hours. Medication / health issues that may affect heat tolerance have been considered. I have previously experienced heat exhaustion. Supervisor / emergency contact available.

7. Heat Exposure Monitoring

If any heat stress symptoms are present: STOP WORK, leave the plant room, notify supervisor, hydrate and move to a cool area. Fitness must be reassessed before returning to work.

40–45°C	Dynamic risk assessment mandatory. Hydration break every 30–45 minutes. Welfare checks required. Supervisor notification required.
Above 45°C	Supervisor authorisation required. Strict hydration regime, enhanced welfare monitoring and review of work methods to reduce heat exposure.
